Check how we work with seed plantations:

The quality of the seed material delivered to our production facilities is the result of careful field cultivation. That’s why our specialists regularly inspect seed plantations and work closely with growers, advising on agronomic practices and fertilization, while closely monitoring seed-specific factors such as varietal and species purity.

01

Establishing cooperation with the grower and signing a cultivation contract

The decision to establish cooperation is based on strict criteria, including:

  • The size of the area designated for the seed plantation
  • Suitable preceding crops for the specific seed species
  • Required spatial isolation for the given seed species
  • Adequate on-farm storage facilities
02

Delivery of base seeds to the grower

Seed plantations are sown exclusively with high-generation seed material (most commonly base seed), which is supplied directly by the seed company.

03

Sowing and crop management in compliance with seed production standards

04

Marking seed plantations with field identification signs

Each plantation is marked with our field identification signs and reported to the Voivodeship Plant Health and Seed Inspection Authorities for official field inspection.

05

Field certification

Field certification is conducted by our team of accredited seed inspectors, ensuring full compliance with regulatory and quality standards. This first official assessment of seed material in the field forms a critical part of the certification process and results in the issuance of an official Field Inspection Certificate.

06

Harvest and preliminary quality evaluation of seed material

Following harvest, a representative sample collected at the grower’s storage site is delivered to the seed company’s laboratory for a preliminary quality assessment. This evaluation focuses on key parameters such as germination capacity, purity, and moisture content, ensuring the material meets the required certification and quality standards.
